| | Vauxhall Park | view slideshow | view thumbnails [ 22 images ] | |  | We're off to a park this week – a little oasis in the bustle of what is Vauxhall. The unsurprisingly named, Vauxhall Park, is something of a little gem – with the usual football pitch, tennis court and playground – but also a lovely rose garden and even – wait for it – a model village.
The park was opening in 1890 by Albert – The Prince of Wales and even has a society of 'Friends' to look after it – more about the park and the friends can be found at their website:
