This week we're back slap bang central in town for Wigmore Street. It's a busy street running parallel to Oxford Street and you'd be forgiven for thinking there was little there. But it does have some rather stunning architectural features if you take a little look upwards! It's not all about that, however, there's also the very wonderful Wigmore Hall. I've been lucky enough to be in there for several BBC lunchtime concerts, what seems years ago, and it's a really spectacular concert hall. Even the exterior looks like it belongs to another time. It was built by C. Bechstein Pianofortefabrik, the German piano manufacturer whose showroom was next door between 1899 and 1901. With near perfect acoustics the place has attracted some rather famous people Camille Saint-Saëns to name just one.

Other than this nugget of history, number 95 was the original home of the Beatle's Apple Corp....

It's busy, hectic and I think there's a lot to photograph! Enjoy!
Directions:From Bond Street Tube, cross the road and head up James Street, you'll cross Wigmore.
